Were ENERGY STAR scores updated in the new Porfolio Manager (July 2013)?

No, the underlying methodology for computing the ENERGY STAR scores did not change in the new Portfolio Manager.

However, while all of your historical data remained unchanged, some calculated metrics may differ slightly. Various reference values used to compute site energy, source energy, and emissions were updated with recent data. These updates may have caused small changes to your metric values.Your metric values for all of your data (back as far as your data goes) will be updated with these same updates.

EPA does adjust ENERGY STAR energy performance score models for specific property types, as new data sets become available. There is currently no set timeline for updating any of the existing score models. EPA will provide advance notice to all Portfolio Manager users before any future model changes take place.

This FAQ explains more about why your scores may have changed.
